Description

Equine Assisted Therapy (EAT) incorporates horses into the therapeutic process and is ideal for people that struggle with building trust, confidence and empathy. It assists with creating emotional awareness, assists with developing social skills, it teaches impulse control and problem solving skills. This hands-on form of supervised therapy includes the feeding, washing and grooming of horses, leading horses and sitting on and being led on the horse. Each person will be evaluated individually to determine the course of therapy
